Our Catholic Faith

Faith Committee
The Faith Committee is a group of teachers that assist in planning weekly Masses and religious ceremonies for our school community.  General questions may be directed to
Giana DeVito.

School Mass
Parents, friends, and family members are welcome to join their students at Ave Maria for the All School Masses with varying grade levels attending.

Sacraments

Although parents are ultimately responsible for their child’s preparation, there is instruction in their classroom and the parish partners with parents to complete the sacrament requirements.
  • Reconciliation (preparation in second grade)
  • First Holy Communion (preparation in second grade)
  • Confirmation (preparation in eighth grade)
Picture
“From the first moment that a student sets foot in a Catholic school, he or she ought to have the impression of entering a new environment, one illumined by the light of faith and having its own unique characteristics . . . an environment permeated with the Gospel spirit of love and freedom.”
