CSAL Athletics - 5th-8th Grade
CSAL is the athletics league for players in the 5th – 8th grades. Traditionally, 5th & 6th grade teams are referred to as “JV” while 7th & 8th grade teams are listed as “Varsity”. Practices will be held at AMCS. Games schedules and times will be posted on the CSAL website as well as communicated by coaches. Games will consist of “Home” and “Away” games and can be scheduled Monday - Saturday.

CSAL Sports Offered Through Ave Maria Catholic School:
- Fall: Coed Cross Country, Coed Flag Football, Coed Volleyball
- Winter: Boys & Girls Basketball; Coed-Futsal
- Spring: Boys Baseball, Girls Volleyball
Registration:
- (CSAL) Submit Registration on CSAL Website
- After you click “Submit” form button you will be taken to our PayPal portal to complete the registration payment process (Please note that all registration fees are non-refundable.)
- There will not be a separate uniform deposit fee. If your uniform is lost or returned unusable, your school account will be charged a $100 replacement fee.
Play Like a Champion
- Play Like A Champion (PLAC) – see CSAL site for additional information. General requirements are:
- Required Class for both Parents & Coaches before student-athletes allowed to participate in CSAL and Widgets Athletics
- PLAC – Parents: Must attend a session. One time only
- PLAC – Coaches: Separate from Parent Class, each coach must attend a session. One time only
- Periodic audits will be conducted by CSAL and shared with the Athletic Director for action
